And the third place on the list is occupied, after climbing seven positions compared to last year, the restaurant Los Marinos José (Fuengirola).
But the presence of Spain extends beyond the first three places: of the top ten, nine are restaurants located in Spain, which represents an increase of 30% in the presence of Spanish restaurants in the best positions on the list with respect to 2018. Spanish cuisine thus demonstrates its growing dominance in traditional European cuisine. Between steakhouses and seafood restaurants, the number of restaurants that work with seafood is remarkable among the locals that top the list.
The United Kingdom has obtained the second place among the European countries with more presence in the list with 41 of its 13 entries located in London; while Italy offers more geographical diversity with 40 entries spread across eight different regions. Of all these entries, the most notable is that of the Roman trattoria Rosciolo , the only non-Spanish restaurant that is among the top ten on the list.
